Datu,
It’s Jason B. from a few years past. I think the last time I got in touch with you was when I moved from Ft Lewis in 2003. I was trying to get the school house to look into getting you out there to teach a seminar, but it just didn’t pan out. So, while I was there I tried to give my soldiers all I could remember from my time as your student. I wore out the two prototype DVDs that you made…literally, they don’t work anymore! Anyhow, I was glad to pass on what I could to the up and coming officers to supplement the schoolhouse H2H.
I tried to get back to Lewis to serve again, but it wasn’t in the cards this time… too bad, because I was really looking forward to training with you again. I’m afraid my skills have gotten a little rusty, but I still get a chance to practice on the heavy bag, trying to remember the combos and workouts we used to do.
You honor me, btw, with the cover picture to your SF Training DVD. I need to pick that up sometime, as it looks also to be the comprehensive set (besides the handsome guy on the jacket!)
I hope this letter finds you and the guys well.
Very respectfully,
MAJ Jason B.
